One topic we’re going to go into more depth on in a future Insight Video segment is passwords. Recently, the media site Gawker was the subject of a hack that put 1.3 million of its users passwords at risk. More than 274,000 of those passwords were leaked. For more on that story, you can read it here. But of the passwords that did leak, as you can see from this graphic, many of them were relatively easy to guess. In 2011, we’ll discuss how you can create a password that will be relatively easy for you to remember, but near impossible for someone to guess.
